Profile Klaus-Peter Esser

Klaus-Peter Esser has been successful as a trainer and coach since 1994. He also instructs consultants and trainers himself. As a trainer and coach, he supports individuals, teams or whole organisations undergoing a transition due to their processes of change.

In conducting this work he also brings in almost 20 years of experience as an executive, gained in the period from 1975 to 1994 in German and international industry, where he was a successful manager and chief executive officer. His entrepreneurial thinking has been influenced by his involvement in the family-owned business at an early stage in his career. After completing his studies and gaining five years of experience in his parents’ industrial company, in 1980 he joined an internationally operating large American automotive supplier where he worked as a successful executive for 14 years, until 1994.

The radical transition from CEO to freelance trainer in 1994 came out of an increasing urge to give his life new direction and to purposefully combine the experience he had gained in life and leadership while working with others. He has now complemented his expertise in management and leadership by successfully completing a training programme and further education in the fields of training, coaching, supervision and psychology.

Motivated by his own eventful life script, supporting people in pursuit of discovering or rediscovering what they deem most appropriate to their lives is of particular interest to him. Here it is important to him to combine aspects of personality, of emotion and heart on the one hand with so-called "hard facts" on the other hand. An important element in his personal creed is hence more "both ... and ..." than "either ...or ...".

Klaus-Peter Esser offers training in German and English. He also speaks French and Spanish.

He is an enthusiastic skipper and yachtsman and he offers individual coaching in combination with spending a vacation at his residence on Corfu, Greece to interested individuals and executives.

He has been in a relationship with is wife, Barbara, since 1968. Apart from the work they do together, they both share a love for their three children, three grandchildren and their joyful golden retriever.
